Most recently, as CIO at Brandix Lanka Limited, Suren led a strategic transformation of the ICT division, transitioning it from a decentralized to a cohesive, results-driven structure. He shifted the division's approach from reactive to proactive, implementing robust security measures to safeguard data integrity and organizational reputation. Under his leadership, Brandix adopted an innovation-centered approach, leveraging digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Prior to his role at Brandix, Suren served as COO at Disrupt Unlimited, a Brandix-owned incubator focused on fostering disruptive innovation. He played a pivotal role in establishing an entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing essential funding and strategic support to bring pioneering ideas to market. This experience enabled him to nurture and scale startups, guiding them on a path to success.

Suren’s career also includes over a decade at Virtusa, where he advanced from Project Manager to Senior Director of Delivery. During this time, he oversaw strategic business units and managed large-scale projects, leading teams across Sri Lanka, India, Europe, and the USA, and driving annual revenue growth exceeding $100 million.

Originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka, Suren holds a BSc in Management Information Systems from University College Dublin and has completed certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from MIT Sloan. A proud father of two daughters, he credits much of his success to the enduring support of his family.
